| | My director is ridiculous. I can't find any words to fully express how angry I am at him. SO this is what happened (I just had to blog this because it makes me so mad):
We had rehearsals from 3-5 today. It said on the board 3pm-5pm. I didn't go to my first job and I had to be late to my second job 15 mins late but it's okay because I had told them already. So it's 5 pm, the big hand was at the 12 and the small hand at the 5. and he's STILL making us sing. I raised my hand and asked if I could leave because I needed to go to work, I can't risk being 5 more mins late than I had told them. He just blows up. He starts yelling at how he's tired of people always needing to skip rehearsals, and how rehearsals end when he said it ends, and how now he can't work because I will be gone (mind you, one girl was already absent from rehearsal, and another one left 10 mins ago to go to WORK), and how we're all a bunch of useless worthless singers. and then he yells at me saying if I have to go then GO! So of course, I walk to the door and he's still throwing papers and kicking things around, and he screams to me that he'll dock my grade because of this. LOWER MY GRADE BECAUSE I HAD TO LEAVE AT 5 PM, THE TIME REHEARSAL IS SUPPOSE TO END, TO GO TO WORK? IF it had been 4:55 pm, fine, yell at me all you want, but it's 5 pm, the clock said 5 pm, and I need to go to work so I don't get fired because I have to late like at least once a week due to rehearsals. (My work is run by strict asian ladies, so being prompt is super important).
and people wonder why it's so hard for me to sympathize with him because he's "old and just being cranky".
